One of my pictures is in Import Tuner magazine! |
I’ve known about this since July, but I’ve just now received word that the January issue of Import Tuner has one of my pictures in it. For anyone with subscriptions, watch your mailbox. For those of you without subscriptions, check the newsstands in a few weeks. I’ll post pics here once I get mine. Also, thanks to DcrPrz for posting this on Tampa Racing’s Photography & Graphics forum. |

Lexus IS350 |
After much convincing, Amanda and I went out to meet Brandon and Mike at the JDM UPs night show . Overall there was a huge turnout, but as usual shows usually don’t provide much opportunity for creativity when shooting photos. Mike convinced John to meet us behind the Lowe’s for a few pics - here they are. Sorry for the protruding pole - it proved to be a necessary evil.

Dave’s Lamborghini Gallardo |
Dave was gracious enough to let me document his Gallardo this past weekend. It recently underwent a serious detail (50 hours!). Brandon and I met up with him just in time for it to start raining. Our original locations was newly chained and posted with No Trespass signs so we have to scramble for one of our backup locations. After a lot of running around, and Dave and Brandon getting pulled over once, we finally managed to get it done. Check out my flickr page for the full set. |

Matt’s Soarer (Lexus SC400) |
I went out with the usual suspects on Tuesday and shot Matt’s Soarer. All in all it was a very unsuccessful day for me, but I was able to help Mike and Brandon get some great rolling shots. We had issues with the location we picked out (they have recently torn the roof off and condemned the building) so we moved to our backup location which was infested with mosquitoes. Eventually we settled in a parking garage and were able to get some decent shots until my $200 flash fell from one of my light stands and bit the dust - after that I was pretty well unmotivated. RIP SB600 - we had some good times together.
Rolling shots by Brandon and Mike K., click the images to see their repsective websites. |

Krystian’s Jet Stream Blue Corvette |
I got together with Krystian, Brandon, Mike K. yesterday to shoot Krystian’s Corvette, and this time I was able to convince Amanda to come along. We started out shooting infront of this amazing blue mural (I have no idea what it was supposed to be, but the colors were great) and ended up shooting in what looked to be the drop-off line for a school. If I had to score the looks of this car on a scale of 1 to 10 - it would be a 12. Great looking car. Here are some of the shots. As usual, more on my flickr page. Picture of me shooting - courtesy of Brandon. Click the image to see his flickr page. |

Mike B.’s Civic |
Seeing that I met most of the photographers that I know on a local automotive website, it only seems obvious that a good percentage of them take great pride in having a nice car. When there is a lull in the availability of cars to shoot, it only seems obvious that we end up shooting one of our own cars. This time Mike B. drove his Civic up from Sarasota and we shot in downtown Saint Petersburg. More shots on my flickr.

Busch Gardens with Michael. |
Michael L and I hit Busch Gardens after work on Wednesday. It’s a little change of pace from the norm, but we had a great time and got some good shots. Check out Michael’s flickr page for more.

Banana Spiders and a Purple Toe. |
After a long period (almost two months) of waiting for his camera to be repaired, Chris finally got Best Buy to concede and replace his camera with a new Canon XSi. We went out to Sawgrass Lake Park to shoot some nature. After about an hours worth of shooting I ended up with some great Banana Spider pictures and a mysterious bite that turned my toe purple. See my flickr page for the shots. |

James’s Twin Turbo Corvette |
I had the pleasure of spending some time with Mike and Brandon again on Thursday shooting James’s Boosted Corvette (nice car!). I’m not sure the final pictures will make it to the website, but they’re worth looking at. See my flickr page for the shots. |
